ART & TALES FROM THE GRANITE STATE
Stories from forgotten places, stubborn people, old roads, railroads, cemeteries and back-country corners, told in words and
Places remember.
That's where this all started. Not with a plan, just a feeling I couldn't shake, standing in old burying grounds and along railroad beds gone to birch.
The stories never really left. They're in the slate stones, the clapboards, the roads the maps forgot, the legends told only once, and the lives of folks who worked this hard ground before us.
I go looking for those stories with a pen and a bottle of ink and try to bring a few of 'em back into the light.
Because the past ain't gone. It's right here, under the snow and the moss, waiting on somebody to stop and listen.
This is Granite Whispers.
Art and tales from the Granite State.

Some of the best stories don't come from books. They come from old photographs, family stories, forgotten places, local legends, and the things people remember because nobody ever bothered to write them down.
If there's a New Hampshire or New England story you think deserves another look, a place worth exploring, or a question about my artwork, I'd like to hear from you.
